White Cell, Inc is a non-profit organization formed to assist with a support group for patients with primary immune deficiencies in Northwest Arkansas. Dr. Tina Merritt has monthly meetings held in the Allergy & Asthma Clinic of Northwest Arkansas. The support group provides educational lectures and materials for the patients and families with primary immune deficiencies.
We had a meeting with the Immune Deficiency Foundation May 15, 2010. Doctors are often trained that when they hear hoof-beats, to look for horses, the common diagnosis. Patricia Parker-Owen donated feather art with zebras, to help people know to look for zebras, the less common diagnosis.
